Design Notes

Much attention should be paid to that such a tag may possibly affect the target protein function and activity. Additionally, whether the tag should be attached to the C' or N' end of the protein should be considered.

This is a commonly used protein tag for purification and we added it to the 3' end of our target gene during gene synthesis.
